Major hospital in Pensacola is seeking a Linen Worker/ Relief Driver. This position will require the person to load and unload washers and dryers, fold linens, collection of soiled linens, delivery of clean linens, and other tasks relating to the operations of a commercial type laundry department in the hospital. This is an extensively physical job, requiring heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time, and walking most of the day. This person will also assist the permanent driver two days a week, driving a 24 ft linen delivery truck from the main hospital to outside hospital locations. To qualify for this position, you must have a valid FLORIDA driver’s license, clean driving record, clean criminal background, have recent stable work history and positive work references. You must be able to pass a DOT type physical for insurance purposes. Hours will be 8am - 4:30pm. Pay: 8.88/hr.
