Employee Counseling
Let’s face it, there are times when some employees need structured guidance. Except as otherwise determined (such as gross misconduct where immediate dismissal is warranted), Landrum Consulting promotes the use of progressive action. This provides the employee with specific feedback and guidance on the company’s expectations, as well as what potential outcomes there may be if expectations are not met.
A Landrum HR Manager will assess an employee issue on a case-by-case basis and advise the company on a recommended course of action. If desired, the HR Manager can assist in the counseling session with the company and the employee.
If an employee has not adequately responded to a progressive counseling approach and termination becomes the necessary option, Landrum can assist here as well.
